2002 Member Picnic
A tax-deductible gift of $35 or more makes you a member of the North Branch Land Trust, $25 for students. It is a common practice for conservation organizations to call their donors members. The term implies something more than just a donation; it implies a closer relationship that conservation organizations seek to foster.
Membership does have its benefits, however:
- Educational programs for people of all ages
- Guided nature walks
- Canoe/Kayak trips
- Invitation to the Annual River trip
- Annual Members' Picnic
- Invitation to Annual Members' Holiday Dinner or Reception in December
- Invitation to the Annual Dinner
- Updates on our progress through newsletters, e-letters and other reports
These benefits are either free or discounted for our members. Members of the North Branch Land Trust are people of diverse backgrounds, political persuasions, and interests. What our members share is a belief that conservation and development are not mutually exclusive, and that effective planning can provide both economic growth and preservation of natural areas with critical conservation values.
We cordially invite you to become a member today. Indifference is the enemy of:
- critical open space and wildlife habitat;
- watershed protection;
- our agricultural heritage; and
- other natural areas that sustain our way of life.
