Bob is President of Riggs Asset Management Company, Inc., where he provides investment management and counsel to clients throughout the country. He began his investment management career in 1989 as a financial consultant with the brokerage firm Raymond James Financial Services and became manager of their Wilkes-Barre office in 1995. In 1999 he joined Riggs Asset Management Company as a Senior Investment Officer and Principal. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Bob has lived throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Asia and the Middle East. He graduated from high school in Seoul, South Korea. After serving with the United States Coast Guard, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Penn State and then joined Loral Corporation in their defense contracting unit.
In addition to the North Branch Land Trust, Bob serves on the boards of the Diamond City Partnership and The Family Business Forum at Wilkes University. He is also a member of the Director’s Leadership Group for the William G. McGowan School of Business at King’s College, a graduate of the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Executive Series, and a volunteer fund-raiser for various local charities.
Bob and his family love living in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where outdoor activities are so close at hand. He’s an avid golfer and enjoys fly-fishing and working with his dogs.
