Join us for a relaxed nature journaling series, where you’ll slow down, notice the small wonders, and capture them in words and sketches.

All skill levels welcome – just bring your curiosity!

We’ll provide a notebook, pencil, prompts, peaceful trails, and gentle guidance from talented local artists.

Birds and Bagels

Join North Branch Land Trust and Wilkes University professor Dr. Jeff Stratford for an educational morning bird walk through Forest Echo Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy local bagels & refreshments, and learn ways to identify birds based on their shape, size, and sound.

Hands For The Land – Celebrating Earth Day
George & Lillian Picton Wildlife Sanctuary | 424 Pond Creek Rd. White Haven, PA 18661

Spend time outdoors, lend a hand, and celebrate Earth Day!

This event will focus on caring for our preserve through trail maintenance and clean-up.

Volunteers will help refresh trails, add trail signage, remove debris, all while connecting with the land, meeting new people, and supporting a healthy ecosystem for all.

Attire: Please dress for the weather and outdoor conditions! Sturdy, closed-toed footwear is necessary to volunteer. Light refreshments will be provided.
