From volunteer days and guided hikes to family-friendly programs and seasonal celebrations, every event is a chance to engage with nature and our mission. Donations are welcome and help ensure these experiences remain possible for our entire community.

We’ll provide a notebook, pencil, prompts, peaceful trails, and gentle guidance from talented local artists.
Join North Branch Land Trust and Wilkes University professor Dr. Jeff Stratford for an educational morning bird walk through Forest Echo Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy local bagels & refreshments, and learn ways to identify birds based on their shape, size, and sound.

Spend time outdoors, lend a hand, and celebrate Earth Day!
This event will focus on caring for our preserve through trail maintenance and clean-up.
Volunteers will help refresh trails, add trail signage, remove debris, all while connecting with the land, meeting new people, and supporting a healthy ecosystem for all.
Attire: Please dress for the weather and outdoor conditions! Sturdy, closed-toed footwear is necessary to volunteer. Light refreshments will be provided.

Join North Branch Land Trust at The Osterhout Free Library and learn the importance of native flora.
Afterwards, decorate a personal flowerpot and plant a native flower, just in time for Mother’s Day.
This event is open to all ages.
Sam O’Connell will lead an informational class featuring the basics of utilizing a camera and helpful tips and tricks to make the most out of your photography efforts.
No Camera? No problem!
Social Fabric Collective will be donating cameras to learn with.
