The Daly Property consists of 243.25 acres more or less to be placed under conservation easement with the North Branch Land Trust. It is located in Lake Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. A headwater stream of Huntington Creek begins on the property. Huntington Creek is designated as a High Quality Cold Water Fishery (HQ-CWF) according to the PA Department of Environmental Protection’s Water Quality Standards.

The property hosts wetlands, a pond, streams, and spring seeps that are teaming with amphibians like green frogs, spring peepers, red-spotted newts, and mountain dusky salamanders. Painted turtles, snapping turtles, wood turtles, eastern garter snakes, and northern watersnakes, and northern ring-neck snakes are some of the resident reptiles.

The mature forest is comprised of tress such as red oak, sugar maple, white ash, eastern hemlock, and sweet birch. Thick stands of rhododendron occur here as well that provides phenomenal habitat for black-throated blue warblers, hermit thrush, ruffed grouse, and whitetail deer.
